Square-Enix bid for Eidos coming to a conclusion
By: Alan Ng | March 5, 2009 | Leave a CommentSeems like this has been dragging on for quite some time now but Square-Enix have said that they are hoping that the proposed takeover of fellow publisher Eidos will be completed by late April.
As reported by GI.Biz, Square-Enix have written up a schedule in which shareholders in the company are set to vote on the acquisition on March 27. If all is successful following that, Square-Enix will take charge of Eidos on the 22nd April.
So, come end of April, Eidos and everything connected to it might have new bosses to command under. What do our readers think of the takeover? If it happens, will you be pleased?
