Review: Apple MacBook Pro 17-inch, few key differences
By: Peter Chubb | March 5, 2009 | Leave a CommentA lot has been spoken about the new 15-inch Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) MacBook Pro, so it is hard to go over the same details about the 17-inch version. However, that does not stop anyone writing a review on the Apple MacBook 17-inch unibody.
Engadget have done just that, and I have to say that their review is very extensive. They note that there are a few key differences on this 17-inch version; the first is its non-removable battery. The second is the laptop’s non-glossy-display is now available as an option.
We are not sure if these features are enough to persuade users to upgrade to the new Apple McBook Pro 17-inch model. The same unibody construction has been used on the 17-inch as on the 15-inch model, and this large version still only weighs in at a little over 6.6 pounds.
