HTC’s Magic in black spotted at CeBIT 09
By: Peter Chubb | March 5, 2009 | Leave a CommentThere is nothing wrong with the white version of the HTC magic, but for those who do not like white, then the handset will be available in black soon. This phone that has been spotted in the wild at CeBIT and does not have the Vodafone branding, leading to speculation that this could be an unlocked version.
So is HTC now planning on offering an unbranded unit at some point, it is not certain if the Magic name is an Exclusive to Vodafone. If this is the case, then the phone on show might be launched with a different name.
The original name for the handset was Sapphire, which was in its codename name, so that name is a possibility. We could all be surmising here, maybe this is just a one-off phone that is used for testing. Only time will tell.
