
Xbox 360 with Red Ring of Death: Get your own shipping box
By: Alan Ng | March 4, 2009 | 5 CommentsIt has been revealed that Microsoft are now telling owners with broken Xbox 360 consoles that they will have to provide their own shipping box from now on, which is sure to anger owners even further given that it is due to hardware failure in most cases.
As the Consumerist reports, one unlucky fellow encountered this very problem when he found out his Xbox console had recieved the infamous ‘red rings of death’ for the second time.
We think Microsoft may come in for a fair amount of criticism for this, if this appears to be true considering the inconvenience of it all. Let us know what you think about this story.
