We have been lucky enough to be sent a set of Able Planet TL300 Dual Headset with Linx Audio technology. The first thing that I notice with this headset is how lightweight they are, let us hope that the sound quality will be good then.
These TL300 offers you the best of both worlds, optimal communication and music quality. These have been designed for work and play, and with Award Winning LINX AUDIO technology, they are sure to perform very well.
The design of the packaging is nice but there is one problem, I had to almost destroy it in order to remove the device. Upon closer inspection of the headset there is some nice cushioning to help fit on your ears. The headset is adjustable for all head sizes.
I have now placed them on my head and the earpads fit on my ears nice and seem to push on tight. I have to stress that they do not block out any outside noise, so can be a bit of a pain. The microphone can be adjustable very easy, and can be moved completely out of the way.
If you are using the Able Planet TL300 for communications work in the office or on your chat software, there is a mute button if you do not wish the person you are talking to hear something. Also near the mute switch is a volume level.
I have now connected the device to my laptop and have started up my chat program, as the program has already been setup for use with a headset I do not have to do anything more. I have now started up a conversation with a friend of mine and it all seems crisp and clear, I did have to adjust the sound level, after all this headset is of much better quality than my own set.
Now comes the true test, listening to some music but what should I choose. I have decided to listen to Pussycat Dolls singing Don’t Cha. I have started with the sound set to half, and I have to say that the sound is not that bad with some decent bass in the background. The sound is now halfway, things are still sounding great, and the bass has kicked up another level. Ok lets go to the max, this thing is amazing, the headset is not distorting and I can feel my ears thumping to the music.
