Sony UMD is dying: David Perry

David Perry has continued the ongoing debate as to whether the new Sony PSP-4000 will feature the UMD disc format or not. The legendary creator of Classics such as Earthworm Jim believes that Sony will drop the UMD on their next PSP release.

The Sony PSP may have had a lot of positive media interest recently, but tt seems like a friendly head to head battle with Sony’s John Koller is beginning to unfold, with David Perry asking Mr Koller to accept or deny rumours about the PSP-4000.

As reported by Eurogamer, a recent comment on Perry’s twitter blog reads: ”John Koller is publically questioning my post about PSP 2. So I confirmed with Top PSP 2 developers. John, state that PSP 2 WILL have UMD.”
