PS3 Sales: Street Fighter IV vs Killzone 2

Over in the US, it appears that Killzone 2 is trailing to Street Fighter IV on Playstation 3 copies sold. Retailer Walmart has revealed that despite Killzone 2 being the most anticipated game of 2009, Capcom’s beat-em-up is currently shifting more copies than the fps shooter.

This is all according to a report from CinemaBlend, who gained their info from GamingFront. Dont forget that Killzone 2 has only been out for a few days so it is very easy to jump to all sorts of conclusions. Also its wise to point out that this could only be occuring in the US at the moment, since we reported earlier that Killzone 2 has had no problems storming straight into number one in the UK charts.

    killzone rocks – street fighter 4 rocks
    i have both for ps3 – its a win win situation my friend!

    These early figures are standard for this type of game, the figures are not showing how many people who are buying KZII are also buying SF4 as i can imagine there to be quite a few, more the point the players that i know that have been waiting for street fighter to hit the shops did not care about kill zone as it is not their genre of choice. It seems the FPS player likes the quick go on a beat em up and will buy the cross genre where as the beat em up fans just tend to stick to that. I myself will be buying KZII and maybe renting SF4 i cannot see this trend lasting more than a few weeks where sf4 takes the charts as KZII will slowly pull the figures in. I mean it was only late on last year GTA4 was knocked off the top slot!

    Dude get sf4 because killzone is boring even that people say it isn’t. I have the game on ps3. It fucking rocks man. Trust me man, get Street Fighter 4,Thanks.

    Lael speaking, killzone is ok for people that love blowing off heads every 5 seconds. Street Fighter is different because 1, it’s so funny with the funny expressions when you jab them in the face. It’s your choice man, choose wisely.

    Dont spend your money on any of them because to be honest they both suck alot. My request is that u get lbp or mgs4.
