Microsoft: Xbox Live doing well in UK

Neil Thompson, who is the senior regional director for Microsoft’s Entertainment and Devices division, has today stated that the company are ‘happy’ with the way things are progressing with their Xbox Live downloading service in the UK and also revealed that last year was a ‘phenomenal’ year for the company.

The report over at GI.biz continues with Mr Thompson saying that due to the companies’ successful 2008, they are now ahead of their previous predictions and are continuing to build on this success in the future.

“What I can say is that we have 17 million Xbox Live subscribers worldwide that are very active, and all of our download content – especially in the UK – is above where our expectations put us. ”
