Killzone 2 PS3 Controls, Guerrilla Games and Patch News

It is no secret that gamers have become a little tired of the controls for Killzone 2 on the PS3, as they feel unresponsive. Guerrilla Games have come under a lot of attack from gamers, but the developer is not changing their mind, they state that the game will stay how it is and does not need a patch.
If you have been playing Killzone 2, then you will know that the controls take some time getting used to. Gamers have found a way around this, and that is to go into the settings of the game and turn the sensitivity way up. It is a hard pill to swallow, Guerrilla Games knows that gamers are not happy, and they still ignore their pleas.
Guerrilla Games have been trying to answer why the controls have been made the way they are, and the answer is simple. They state that the game is a more slower and tactical game compared to other first-person shooter games that are fast and require split-second shooting. Killzone 2 is more tactical and focuses on immersion.
This news has closed the door on any patch updates for the game.

This game is freakin amazing!!! I love it cant wait to get off of work and play my settings are alt 2 zoom checked and sensitivity up a little bit. Game stands on its own for the best fps I have ever played I love the game online and off I dont see any big deal at all about how it plays. I see what gurilla was doing and ohhh am I glad they did what they did I belive this will be a huge succsess for them and gamers alike thank you gurilla games.

I agree with you guys, I really have gotten use to the new control system it is just akward at first, but it makes it nice because everyone is starting out fresh…
Just be glad that GG gave the players the option to change the controller layout.
People (including the auther of this post) needs to get over the controls.

yeah, did these people never play the original KillZone?? all the fags complaining are COD fanboys, KZ2 has it’s own feel, the weapons behave like you’re hulking a 8Kg lump of metal around and not a camera on a stick. they should get over it, learn to play, or just naff off back to COD and leave the fun to us that like the KZ controls.
Alt 3 with Zoom toggle for me and sensitivity up a notch.
just wish crouch had a toggle too though.
