Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) have introduced their new Airport Extreme, as well as an updated version of their Time Capsule. The new Airport Extreme has now offered us some fun in the staid wireless router market, as for the updated Time Capsule, it has also brought some fun stuff to NAS.
The power is supplied from the new dual-band WiFi radios, this allows for them to work with 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands simultaneously. The devices offers support for 50 users simultaneously, you can even set up separate limited-access networks for guests.
The Apple Airport Extreme has a price tag of $179, while the 500GB Time Capsule costs $299 and the 1TB costs $499. It is a lot of money to pay for these devices, but they happen to be good at what they do and they certainly look cool.

What’s new about Time Capsule?
Dual Band Hispeed Wifi! Great if you have an iPhone & a Mac.
But that’s about it. There is a bunch of other new features, but they are mostly a “catching up” kind of features.
I’m going to get one anyway.
