Rock Band: More bad news for Europeans
By: Alan Ng | March 2, 2009 | 1 CommentWe reported last week on the news that Rock Band 2 was finally shipping to EU shores at the end of March. Along with this news, we all thought that the instruments for Rock Band 2 were recieving a price cut as a result of the ‘huge‘ delay for Europeans. Well it turns out today that greedy ol’ EA has confirmed those instrument prices to Rock Band 1 only.
It’s quite a shocking blow to Europeans actually when you think about it, given the months and months of speculations, delays, excuses however you want to call it. There was us thinking that EA had some decency and sympathy for those across the shores, but I guess this announcement ends that thought.
The news over at Eurogamer reads: ”We’re introducing new, low price points for the original Rock Band hardware to make starting a band more affordable than ever. We’re also working on getting Rock Band 2 hardware to Europe and we hope to have more news soon. ”
To our European readers, I dont want to jinx anything, but you might want to take EA’s April 24th release date with a pinch of salt. Let us know your thoughts on this below.
