Peapod Mobility Car: Is this our future

As we know Chrysler have got so much faith in their new Peapod Mobility Car that, they have removed the GEM or Chrysler brand from the car. Instead, the automaker has created a new company called Peapod Mobility, which will build the small electric car.

Upon first look the Peapod looks fun, but could this kind of vehicle really be our future, I certainly hope not. The design does look nice, but a top speed of just 25mph means that we will not be moving around very fast.

I should not put the thing down before it has had a chance, as the Peapod is designed as a Neighborhood Electric Vehicle; it has ticked all the boxes to do that job well. The downside to the vehicle is the high price tag, a huge $12,500.
