LG 830 Spyder Cell Phone Recall: Software T83LGV03, T83LGV04
By: Peter Chubb | March 2, 2009 | Leave a CommentLG Electronics (SEO:066575), normally launch a phone and it does very well from the start, but it is a different story for the LG 830 Spyder Cell Phone. The phones are now to be recalled as they have difficulty keeping a connection, or they have poor voice quality when making 911 calls.
LG have only received one report of a user who was unable to make an emergency call, the call that was made by a motorist in an accident said that his 911 call was dropped. This was a result of the network having a problem establishing a GPS lock on the phone.
The recall of the LG 830 Spyder Cell Phone involves those with software versions T83LGV03 and T83LGV04. For more information on this recall, please visit www.cpsc.gov
