What happened to the DoCoMo Panasonic P905i?
By: Peter Chubb | February 27, 2009 | 1 CommentPanasonic released the P905i, which the electronics giant made for DoCoMo. The cell phone features the 1seg TV tuner and uses Viera image processing; this is the same technology that Panasonic use in their PDP TV’s.
The image quality is truly amazing when watched on the 3.5-inch screen, which has a resolution of 854×480 pixels. The Panasonic P905i handset features 3G, GSM and GPS, as well as 1GB of built-in memory just so that you can record television programs.
The handset was aimed at technology freaks, who would find it hard to refuse a TV that can fit into your pocket, as well as make and receive calls. The 2-megapixel camera will not take the best pictures in the world, but is just enough to keep users happy.
When the DoCoMo Panasonic P905i was first launched, it was meant to be a breakthrough for Panasonic, but what has happened to that handset now?
