Nintendo Wii: Classic Controller Pro Revealed
By: Alan Ng | February 26, 2009 | Leave a CommentNintendo is set to reveal a brand new control pad for the Nintendo Wii in Japan. It is called the Classic Controller Pro and the new design looks a lot more like a Sony DualShock pad. There are no details on a release date other than that it will be released this year in Japan.
As reported by GamesIndustry.biz, the new pad features hand-grips and shoulder buttons and these additions make it look quite different compared to the standard Classic Controller. With the new additions, the pad now features 8 multi-purpose buttons thanks to the 2 added shoulder buttons.
There is no details on a US or EU release date yet nor is there any word of pricing. We will keep you informed when we get more news. Looks like a good pad to upgrade to for Nintendo Wii users, what do you think?
