
Microsoft announces Universal Pictures deal
By: Alan Ng | February 26, 2009 | Leave a CommentMicrosoft has announced today that they have teamed up with Universal Pictures in a move which will see some of their films available for download from the Xbox Live Marketplace.
As reported from Eurogamer, the news was released by UK Xbox boss Neil Thompson and the deal will mean Xbox owners will get to download the likes of The Bourne films, Hellboy II and Shaun of The Dead to name a few.
As far as pricing is concerned, downloading an HD film which is under the ‘new’ category will set you back 540 MSP (GBP 4.50), whereas SD films will cost you 360 MSP (GBP 3). More details in the link above.
