Sony has today confirmed that the long awaited Warhawk ‘Command Centre’ will be released onto Playstation Home this thursday. The news came during Sony’s Destination PlayStation event that took place recently.
As reported by Eurogamer, the Warhawk Command Centre will allow up to eight players at one time to use a ‘table replication’ of a level giving PS3 users in Home plenty of time to talk serious battle tactics and strategies, even allowing users to place markers on a map to demonstrate their cunning ideas.
The update should become live as part of this week’s Playstation Store updates, let us know how you get on, and what you think of the new Warhawk Home space.

What good is it without public voice chat?
Voice Chat was added back to home months ago
I can’t wait for this thing to arrive, I really want to play with it. I REALLY hope that more than 8 people can use this area at one time though….there are hundreds of Home users, to be one of those 8 would take not only infinite patience but a large amount of luck. I hope it’s like the bowling alley, with multiple areas you can use. I’m waiting for Home to come back online, I’ll be checking it every hour or so. Maybe I’ll be one of the first people to use it
By the way, if you’re a serious gamer you’d have a PC with Ventrilo for public chat, since the PS3’s headset capabilities are still rather slim outside of the games.
