Dell has officially announced the launch of the Mini 10 netbook and has a UK release date of February 26. After months of speculation over what the specs and price will be, Dell thought it was about time they put us out of our misery.
The Dell Mini 10 netbook comes with a 16:9 display and has a 10.1-inch screen, the whole thing weighs 1.3kg, which seems a bit heavy for a netbook. So let us look inside and see what is weighing the thing down.
The keyboard is 92 percent the size of a standard keyboard, with a touchpad that offers full multi-touch gestures. The netbook is powered by an Intel Atom CPU and has 1GB of RAM and 160GB hard drive. The Dell Mini 10 runs on Windows XP SP3. Connectivity is not bad either; there is a card reader, Bluetooth, a HDMI port and USB2.0.
The Dell Mini 10 comes in five colors; these include black, white, green, blue, pink and red. The price should be around £299.

The mini 10 is far superior to the mini 9, it really is a great little machine and the price is competitive too.
