PS3’s SingStar wireless microphones get release date

Sony has some news that many SingStar fans have been waiting on; they have announced the launch date of their wireless SingStar microphones. The date is March 20 for the UK, so you will be able to get used to them before the SingStar Pop Edition for PS3, which is sometime in April.
Sony describe the new wireless mics as “easy to pass around,” and are compatible with not only the PlayStation 3, but also the PS2 as well. In recent trials the microphones were given a 99% rating, I cannot wait.
The upcoming SingStar Pop Edition comes with some great new features; one of these is a new voice control feature. This allows a user to speak the name of the track they wish to sing, the user can also use this new features to choose tracks to purchase from the SingStore Carousel.

These were announced 6 months ago; where are they? Amazon UK has them, but no one in the US does. What’s the deal!
