GTA IV Censorship ‘Error’ will be fixed say Rockstar
By: Alan Ng | February 20, 2009 | Leave a CommentRockstar has issued an official statement following the revelations that some parts of the game are censored as a result of the games latest update. They hope to have the ‘error fixed immediately’.
The issue at hand is that in the European version of the game, pools of blood are seen to ‘disappear’ almost instantly by a body and also camera angles had been altered during sex scenes. These problems do not appear in the US version it seems.
Rockstar were keen to point out that this issue was a result of a recent patch to the original game and not due to the release of ‘The Lost and Damned’ DLC pack. A Rep from Rockstar stated, ”We are aware of an error with the latest GTA IV title update and are confident the issue will be fixed within the next few hours”
