Sega has confirmed a March 20th release date in the UK for the anticipated Nintendo Wii shooter MadWorld. It will be developer Platinum Games’ first title as part of it’s four-game publishing game with Sega.
As reported from Edge, the highly stylized graphics game is under debate in various areas of the world, due to the extreme violence contained in the game. The British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) have rated the game 18, whilst Australian authorities have the game on a MA15+ rating.
Due to the ratings issue, we hope the developers haven’t been forced to cut down on any elements of gameplay, as that would really disappoint gamers out there we feel. Let us know your thoughts.

The only Wii game I’ve wanted to play since No More Heroes. Looking forward to this one, lets hope the grannies, ninnies and nazis don’t hype this up to the point of needless and ill informed hysteria.
