Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2: Twitter App now live

Rob Bowling, community manager at Infinity Ward has launched a Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Twitter Application which is now available to view to all over at his blog.
Mr Bowling revealed that since it went live, it was the second most talked about topic on Twitter after American Idol, which is pretty staggering for a video game which is months away from its release. He added, ”I was blown away with the response to our first question, Name one thing you’d like to see in Modern Warfare 2 ”.
Im sure most of you die hard CoD fans have a lot more to say on Modern Warfare 2 than ‘name one thing’ so head onto the blog here and take part in the debate.

i want mw2 to be just like cod4 but better guns such as m16 p90 mp5 and many new ones other perks and gernade tweeks such as more nade spots mor buildings hiding spots and grassy maps for MLG gamebattles more related game types keep domination search and sabo!
like chris said i think many other people wants that mw2 would be like cod4. more maps like crossfire good dynamic maps with sniper and close combat possibility. more perks indeed. capture the flag would be awesome, i have been plaing cod4 for 1 year now and i miss CTF some times.
more machineguns,snipers,pistols, submachineguns and assaults. “ammokit perk would be cool” man carries ammo kit and can drop it and players can pick up ammonation.
Guns that would be in game (AK5,Famas f1,FN Five-seven,FN SCAR,IMI Galil,Heckler & Koch G36,Accuracy International AW,NeoStead 2000,Steyr M and Steyr AUG.
more attachments like M26 Modular Accessory Shotgun System and if there is night maps you can choose do you use nightvision or light, maybe you can change your uniform camo.
I think there should be create-a-class split screen, weaker snipers unlike the 50 cal should have silencers, that the map “backlot” “broadcast” “crossfire” and “strike” should return along with the “50 cal” “mp5″ and m4 carbine. thanks for cod mw 2 !!
i think that silenced snipers should be a must as a marksman is all about being quite!
Also, more guns should be available and should not rely on stopping power as much.
There should be more perks and some different game types.
Camo should be introduced again and maybe have grass ones for the snipers.
More than one weapon attachment should be allowed and more scopes introduced with different range types that can zoom in and out. Also snipers and other guns should have bi pods. Finally more maps and players should be available especially in multi player. Oh yes and a couple of other things more explosives should be made in the game and more realistic game play disabling your gun to poke through a wall and enabling you to climb over more things.
All I Can say is all that you want will be in Modern Warfare 2.I can’t tell you anymore detail though
i thin you should be able to drive tanks fly helos and other stuff but us the veichles

Ok wat i want is simply. I want the ability to be able to choose the gender of my character, For example. Since im a girl i want to have a female character to play with not a male. I want to be distingueshed. Not the same. Maybe b able to dress it and make the character how i want it to b. I knw its too much to ask, but u need to realize that girls also play this game, and we dnt like to b guys. So in the new game thats coming out, i want it to HAVE GIRLS!! plz and Thanx Sincely -Jessi aka JESSI1085 =]
I still absolutely love Modern warfare and still play it. I would like to see a huge scale of weapon choices, and perks as well. Maybe some more realistic weapon damage. No more vaccum knife please!. If someone is being shot it would be so cool to have them be knocked back by the bullets. That would be awesome and realistic. I don’t see how its possible for someone to charge you while they’re getting lit up…do u?….that’s all I’m getting at.
well cory you are correct weapon damage is good to have but i dont think people will like it if there character is just being pushed back or frozen while ther\’re being shot at and bullets dont knock people backwards, they shoot through them soo fast that it just moves right through them it won\’t move them at all.
I think modern warfare 2 should have the ability to customize your player so he looks like how you want him.
i want more maps set in the city as well
i believe MF2 should have a silencer for a sniper rifle, the barrett was extremely loud and it gave away my position constantly. I like the idea of a high powered sniper but a supressor would be extremely beneficial. I also think more perks need to be added and the spawns if possible should be fixed, ive been spawned into a whole team before countless number of times. and also, MAKE SURE THE G3 REMAINS IN THE GAME!! that is the best weapon silenced
I think should be more perks maps a wider range of weapons and be able to have suppressed snipers.And be able to drag your teamate from last stand away from danger and recover him. And if possible able to get a first aid kit out to heal yourself.

I didn’t see any problems with the original mw. Although ofcorse I would like the new mw2 to have the same character movements maybe just add parrying so the player doesnt have to completely expose himself when shooting around corners. World at War doesnt compare to the gameplay in #4 so dont make it anything like that. COD 4 is one of those epic games that will always be played
I think you should get rid of martyrdom and last stand. Those perks are bitch perks and should not be used by no one. Once a player has been shot down, that player in my books should not be allowed to get more kills after he’s been takin down. Example (Last stand) Say I jus shot buddy in the head and he goes down to the ground on last stand. Fuck that shit he should be dead. Example(Martyrdom) Ok use that perk…but if a player used up all his grenades during combat…why is he able to drop one AFTEr he’s been killed. I say martyrdom should only work if you have a grenade left in your inventory to drop. Cause lets just face it..too many players use that perk..and it makes call of duty 4 rather annoying. PLus you dont need martyrdom to drop a grenade at death. Readying one to throw and then dying will drop one too..and that again in my books is a legit grenade drop. And should be the only way martyrdom occurs.
My only other wish is that you guys incorporate bigger teams. Like 16 vs 16. Or 32 vs 32…. 6vs 6 or even 8 vs 8 doesnt sound like war to me..its more like a gang fight in the street. I want the real war experience …like being shot at by 6 diffferent people..not jus concentrating on eliminating 6 players. More people and bigger maps…do it…Also we need a bigger space for clan tags. Let us know how many people are online when we sign in. Make a girl character cause lots of girls play COD. Or even put a character edit. But whatever you do dont take away form the gameplay in number 4. if anythign make it better. Cause I consider COD 4 the best fps ive played yet…surprise me with mw2
in essence i agree with you… but they already have ground war which was 18 vs 18 and it was very hard to stay alive as it was on that, maybe if they make bigger maps that would only be avaliable to 25 vs 25 and 32 vs 32 matches it would work.

i think that the next MW should get rid of juggernaut. I’ve played COD 4 before and everytime there are juggernauts who camp or just use cheap classes with noob tube and its just terrible. But definately you should add more classes to choose from in the begging multi. and i think you should be able to have two modifications on a wepon. I wanted to have a silenced M4 WITH red dot but you could only have one or the other so two mods would be nice. and maybe add in some better airsupport I play COD 4 and WaW and there is a major difference in getting dogs and getting the helicopter so you should add in something a little more fair.
i think there should be alot more single shot weapons, beacuase i’m in love with the g3.
and also the grewer in CoD 5.
