
Rock Band responds to Guitar Hero with 10-Million Milestone

The successes of Rock Band and Guitar Hero have been fairly evident with the amount of sales reached. With Guitar Hero recently stating recent sales compared to Rock Band, Viacom has come out with their own announcement on how well its game is doing at the moment.
As reported by Softpedia, Viacom, the company working alongside Harmonix have today announced that the Rock Band music game series has reached over 10 million units shipped worldwide.
Viacom Chief Financial Officer Tom Dooley also stated that despite the ongoing recession hitting the economy, the company remained ‘enthusiastic about the future franchise potential for Rock Band’ in the years to come.
