Blockbuster announces Online Video Game Rentals
By: Alan Ng | February 12, 2009 | 1 CommentBlockbuster has announced that it will be adding Video Games to its Total Access Subscription package along with its range of movie titles.
This move will be starting in the second quarter of 2009 and Blockbuster say this will only be available to a ‘limited number of subscribers’ to start with. They did however say that they hope to have this feature accessible to everyone shortly after in the second half of the year.
It looks as if Blockbuster will go head to head with its rival Netflix, but both have their advantages for the customer. Blockbuster will have a wider range of content available, but Netflix have already began integrating their service into many entertainment devices such as Blu-Ray players.
