GTA IV players will recieve free access to Microsoft’s Xbox Live

Microsoft have announced that users will be able to access Xbox Live Gold features for players of Grand Theft Auto in February. This special feature is aimed to re-ignite interest for players of the original title but mainly due to the upcoming release of the DLC pack ‘ The Lost and Damned’.

This little event will kick off on the 17th February and will last up untill the 22nd February. We think this is a great idea to get peoples interest back into the game, so hat’s off to Microsoft for this one.

So for anyone who will be picking up the new DLC episode when it goes live, you will have a good 5 or so days to try out all the game’s new online features, for free!
