Google Sync Beta for iPhone and Windows Mobile platforms
By: Daniel Chubb | February 10, 2009 | Leave a CommentYou may know a little already about Google’s Sync product, but you may not know that today Google (GOOG) made Sync available to Microsoft’s (MSFT) Windows Mobile platform and Apple’s (AAPL) iPhone.
This means that users can sync events, calendar and other data directly to their iPhone’s and Windows Mobile powered devices.
The software is still in beta but promises great things thanks to easily getting data from your old phone to the new one. Switching phones has never been easier thanks to Google Sync.
Being able to synchronize data is always good and when it’s done in the background with little effort on your part, its even better. Sync enables you to transfer calendar and contacts data from your Google account and also make changes to them either on the web or via your phone.
Give it a try today at Google Sync or watch a video explaining more here.
