Epic to add level up experience system to Gears of War 2?

The Executive Producer for Epic’s Gears Of War 2 has posted a question on the game’s official forum asking gamers if they would prefer a level-up system in a future update compared to the current TrueSkill rank system.
The question comes after Rod Fergusson himself declared that relying on the current TrueSkill system can be frustrating and misleading for gamers. In his post on the forums, he stated: ‘What if, instead of skill rank, we instead showed your experience level. You would gain experience through your individual performance in Public multiplayer matches - the higher your score at the end, the more experience you acquire.’
It is nice to know that the dev team are thinking of new ways to keep the game exciting and fresh for gamers, but what do you think of the ideas? Would you welcome this new level-up system or would you prefer to keep the old one? Let us know your ideas.
