Problems downloading Killzone 2 demo off the PS3 Store?

The Killzone 2 demo was released yesterday onto the EU Playstation Store much to everyone’s delight. While those who downloaded it straight away had no problems, some people had problems downloading it due to high server traffic.

For once it was a pleasant surprise that EU owners would get access to the demo ahead of the US store. While this wasnt a problem for those with multiple region accounts, this then meant that American owners who had their special pre-order deal with Gamestop came to the EU store in numbers, causing slow download speeds for EU users.

    Problems????

    I started my download @ 4:36pm uk time and had no issues downloading it? It did take 2 + 1/2hrs to download, but I presume that is due to the size of the file.

    Now I have played the demo, I am really…really looking forward to the games release on Feb 27th!!!

    Downloaded the demo no problem. Pretty short, but looks amazing.

    For some reason it took a while. Normally I have let it download and install and turn of the ps3. But when I did that the download slowed down to a crawl. I had to go the downloads section in order for it to go at a good speed.

    The Demo is very short. Leaves you wanting more.

    Took 5 painfully slow hours to download on my 2 meg Tiscali connection, but was worth the wait. Game looks awesome and plays like a dream. Can’t wait to get my hands on the full game.

    Less than too short!

    Great looking game but demo was a tooo short.

    downloaded as soon as it hit EU store had no problem it actually seemed faster to download then RE5 even tho RE was under a gig and KZ was like 1.3gb
    Graphics gameplay both awesome!
    But yer very short does leave you wanting more.

    i started downloading this game at about 8:30 pm on thursday nite, at around 11 pm it was on 52% so i left the ps3 on and went to sleep checked again at 9am friday morning the game was at 70%!!! checkd again around noon it was still 70% when i looked closely it was alternating betwee downloading and pending up till this very second that i am writing this it is still the same!! i am going to delete it and start again have a feeling the file is now corrupt.

    mehhh it took me about 3 hours to get it and I was playing Bioshock so I presume I got a slower DL speed then the average user.

    I have a problem. I got it, and it downloaded perfectly. Then when I try to play, it says installing. I waited for it to install (many times) and it gave me this message “An error occured during the install operation (80029564)”
    What happened? Can I still get it? Please help.

    It wont let me play the demo i have a Uk account can someone please help me this is one of the games i really want on the ps3 when i try playing it says copyright or something someone please help my psn is Nickster_42

    no luck for me, there was some kind of error and now the console says that the key number doesnt work any more
