COD 5 Xbox 360 and PS3 server problems: New local options
By: Daniel Chubb | February 4, 2009 | 8 CommentsIt happened in Call of Duty modern warfare and now it’s happening again in COD 5 world at war. The issue is problems with the server and connecting with friends while playing online.
Issues are vast with problems downloading game settings, errors thanks to ISP’s blocking certain ports, problems connecting to friends and saying that the host is no longer available, games dropping thanks to a very low connection with the host that lives in another part of the world to you and many more problems (feel free to share in the comments).
So what can be done with a patch for COD 5 on the Xbox 360 and Sony PS3 to solver these server problems and what can be done to improve the online play in the next version (COD 6)?
One way to improve online gaming is with better local server options. An option to choose from local servers or to block 2 bar and below connections. Vote in this poll about COD 5 WaW local server options.
You can see some of the results so far below, this is an issue that has been in the news a lot and has still not been solved. We will update you if any patch fixes these issues in the future. For now vote here or comment below.
