COD 5 Glitches: How do Xbox 360 and PS3 gamers feel?

I hate people using glitches because it’s like a cheat and you shouldn’t cheat on games especially CoD5 because it is a ranked base game it pisses me off because im serious at CoD and it’s annoying when you cant see someone that is shooting under you.

Uh… how do you think we feel? We feel ****ing ****ed off.

Glitching destroys a game. Games are designed to be balanced and a glitch that makes someone basically invlulnerable, invisible and able to pick anyone off makes the game unplayable, it also takes away any skill, takes away the reward and in fact the gameplay element of the game.

To give it an analogy, it’s like someone that can’t do a rubiks cube completing it by carefully peeling off all the colored labels and re-adhering them back on, or someone in a board game just ignoring the die and other players and just moving their piece to whatever tile they want.

It defeats the purpose of actually playing the game, because you’re no longer playing the game as it was meant to be, in fact you’re no longer playing the same game as other people at all, technically you’re not even playing a game, you’re just wasting away some time, unfortunately though it’s at the expense of others games. After all they bought the game because they wanted to play that game, not because they wanted to be killed by invisible glitchers/cheats.

My first encounter with the glitch is the f****n Castle map and Round House. I got pwn so bad;I learned about the glitch as soon as I spectate other players…I don’t mind the Nazi Zombie glitch.LOL. I never bother learning the glitches for multiplayer team death matches cuz I’d rather die by the hands of a true skilled player. COD4 is still da BEST! Less issues except those crazy jap players kickin my ass,American Idol wannabe,jumping snipers-hopping everywhere,and always getting 2bars against non-North American players.

The glitches are game ruining. It seems every week there’s a new map with a new glitch. The fact that Treyarch hasn’t fixed them via patch or what not is a joke. I, and my COD friends have returned back to COD4 because you don’t have to worry about stupid glitchers.

Honestly, i won’t be purchasing another Treyarch game for this fact alone. Infinity Ward made a quality game and Treyarch made a COPY of a quality game. And we all know that COPIES are just shittier versions of the original.

These glitches really get me infuriated because they are inexcusable. I want to play the game, but it’s pointless when you have to worry about people exploiting maps that should’ve been fixed a long time ago.

u people r big pussies. u get ur asses kicked and then whine about it on forums. hey, if u want an even playing field, learn the glitches. youtube dumbasses. if you know the cheat then u can prevent them from doing it n get kills. or just play with your friends, if u even have any, u complaining bitches. treyarch cant possibly patch all the glitches. there must be a new one every day! and last time i checked cod4 has more glitches than this one does. and plus it doesnt have zombie mode!

yea, I understand if there are glitches when the game ships. It happens. But to have gone this long unfixed is incredibly surprising and inexcusable. I guess it just shows the level of commitment of Treyarch. I too have opted back to COD 4 simply because every other map has huge exploits. But what do they care, they have my money already. Right?

i glitch because everybody else does but they should be fixed if they were then it would me a fair playin field.

when will they get cod right all there games have had glitches in glicthes are used by players who cant play the game properly who need 2 cheat to get a score .
at end of day it cod5 for having these glitches not the players if they did not exist they would not be able 2 use them.

Well I have to say for the glitches some of them must have been done on purpose i.e the one on the hangar map which requires you if ur on ps3 to press run then jump then tap circle twice and you float up on to this roof opposit the hanger it takes a certain level of skill to perform this move and to know where to do it .

I also would like to say I have’nt seen any 1 using the underground glitch recently but people use the bi pod glitch all the time where u get unlimited ammo while in prone with ur bi pod out on a machine gun but you are exposed so is’nt so bad I personally think your a twat if you need to use theese glitches but if you do i’ll enjoy hunting you glitching fool .

I’m not gonna p**s and moan like most of you slags, it’s a choice, personally I hate glitches and more importantly the glitchERS! Remember it’s just a game and supposed to be fun, glitch if you want to but personally I hope I spot you glitching and put a sniper bullet up your a**! I prefer to spend my 10 deathmatch minutes shooting, stabbing and blowing people up rather than running around for minutes on end trying to sky walk of go underground and then only to finish the round with a whopping 4 kills…well done!!!

That’s it…oh and p.s. I hate tank horders more than glitchers and fags who a rainbow username or bouncing letters (you know who you are, get a grip or f**k off and play little big plant or animal crossing!!!!!!!!!)

i was playing hardcore search and destroy these to gamers were glitching on castle going under the map it was
x H o D g S o N and oOInSaNeScOpEOo these two were spoiling the game for every one then when got bored with that they started to team kill with bugged me so if the you these gamer fail a complaint and get them banned

Glitching will always be around so i guess have have to glitch or just get your arse kicked.. your choice.. i dont bother with glitches except for nazi zombies.. it is kinda the game developers fault they should produce updates to block out this glitches.. so glitch if u wana and dont if u dont wana

the game companies make what people want. treyarch wont be makin the next game so we will see how it goes. they put these glitches in the game. they know glitch haters will still buy the game and they know the glitchers will buy it. put 2 and 2 together. i dont glitch i google it to watch what to look for. i notice that people pick boards with alot of glitches all the time. i love it when i find a group pf guys that donot glitch and have a good game. i can actually see how decent or bad i am. the thing i hate about glitching is it screws the guys playing straight up. i been in total glitch games and quit, didnt want to but what do you do

Glitchers are just really pathetic, shit, cheating idiots who are so bad that they can’t do well by playing the game properly so have to use glitches to try and look good…it’s a shame everyone is just looking at you thinking your unbelievably bad at the game and have the skill of a retarded 2 year old with no hands. I have never heard a real, decent or acceptable reason why glitching is good. Don’t just say everyone is whining, we have a perfectly reasonable thing to f****** whine about. If you can’t play the game properly and do well then maybe don’t play the game at all or learn how to be less shit. Getting shot and then watching a kill cam of some idiot sat in mid air above a building is one of the most irritating things i have ever experienced. Sort your lives out you glitching pricks

Oh and another thing i’d like to mention is the ridiculously awful spawn system on WAW. The amount of times i’ve nearly gone mad from spawning in front of someone time after time…it’s a joke, treyarch have made A LOT of f****** mistakes, not impressed

I got fed up with CoD WORLD AT WAR not 5. MP40′s everywhere and STG’s camping everywhere….it’s not worth it, then you throw tanks in? oh great. But wait, we also have a “few” glitches here and there…..In January, you could do at least 3 gltiches per map easily, most were just getting under or above it. ANyways, the game COULD have been good if they

1. Fixed glitches
2. Fixed hit detection
3. Fixed Weapon balance(MP40 overpowered, every sniper basically under powered)
4. Scrap the tank idea

how about you all stop bitching about glitchers and camp the spot up, damnit. cod4 had glitches ie, on that creek level. all you do is whip out your sniper, and wait for the noobs to try to glitch

People don’t buy games because of glitches but they certainly will hold off buying another game from a publisher that has yet to fix them.

To the person who thinks these glitches are great: The point of the game is competition–what is less competitive than getting beneath the map where nobody can get to you and you have free reign to kill them? It is simple ego stroking. I almost can’t play Cliffside anymore.

To the person who glitches b/c everyone else does: The ONLY way what you are saying is ok is if you only shoot guys who are then glitching themselves. If you get under there and start attacking people who are actually starting to play the game you’ve gone from I’m doing it only because other people will to I’m doing it because it gives me a personal gain from cheating.

Glitching is cheating. It’s no different from keeping an extra couple of Aces up your sleeve at the poker table.
