Race Pro on Xbox 360: Realism taken to the extreme
By: Daniel Chubb | January 28, 2009 | Leave a CommentBuckle up for a rigorous new test of your race-driving skills, so authentic you’ll almost feel your cheeks wobbling as you exit every curve. If you’ve been a fan of Forza Motorsport and Project Gotham Racing on Xbox 360, Race Pro is your next big challenge.
Realism is taken to the extreme in Race Pro for those of you who seek such high-speed thrills. But everyone who loves Touring Cars can enjoy the experience using ‘assists’ to the lifelike controls. You’ll take the wheel of legendary vehicles that include the Dodge Viper, Gumpert Apollo and the iconic Aston Martin DB9 as driven by James Bond! If these are out of your league, you can always start with the Mini Cooper.
As you progress through the ranks towards World Champion, you’ll race all the British and World Touring Car Championship tracks.
The team behind Race Pro, SimBin, believe reality is better than fantasy, and so it’s the laws of physics that’ll be raising the hairs on the back of your neck while jostling for position. In fact SimBin games are so convincing, real drivers are known to use them for training!
Release date is Feb 13. Will you be playing Race Pro?
