I would like to see private chat like the 360 has but to be honest backwards compatability is a waste of time and money you buy a ps3 for ps3 games whats point in playing older why would you pay 300 quid to play ps1 games

I want a update that i can use the ps3 meny when i play ps1 games. but, I WANT TO PLAY PS2 GAMES ON MY PS3 80GB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PS2 bc definitely, people say you could just use a ps2, but what if yours has broken, or you feel like taking advantage of the upscaling, hdd, wireless controllers, and having only one console. Don’t care about private chat, but can see why some people will. It would be cool if they could open the ps3 up to third party developers so other software can be made (like a weather widget or whatever).

for me the only problem i have is that i can’t listen to my own musice when i play my games, i think sony should push developers to make patches for older games, As for my friend, hs only problem is that he can’t play ps2 games on his ps3 msince he bough the 80 gb one, as for me i have no problems since i got my ps3 since the start

Why would I buy a Blue Ray player to play normal DVD’s when Blue Ray is so much better. Um because I own many and dont have space for a Blue Ray player and separate DVD player.

Sounds like a lot features are ones available on the 360, it’s a real shame Sony are still catching up rather than innovating. Personally I’d like to see an improved web browser, improved Blu-Ray play back and an online video store in the UK like Netflix where thousands of movies AND games can be rented.

The main thing I would like for some type of Instant Media Streaming service.

They should get netflix to develop a new interface or come up with something like the new youtube for th PS3/Wii.

I could care less about private chat, and bc. More codec support is ok.

  8. Scott says:

My number 1 request is PLAYTV and easy to transfer media for a Mac.

  9. Scott says:

The next thing I want is blockbuster on demand for the pS3.

i think that the in game trophies should repesent points that you can use to buy things on home and psn network olso in game xmb music bar

I wish that sony would update that crapy xmb, I dont like it, stupid sony is so ignorant what makes a good console is the way you navigate through your music, pics, and videos. Also faster loading times on in game xmb they should totally minimize the things that are displayed, they should show messages box and the friends list and setting and music and that should be it. Of course try to find a way to the trophies so you can view them while in game. SONY should totally consider on upgrading on the xmb, like the xbox, they should take full consideration on the power of the cell if its to powerful why show something dull?
