
Sony PS3 Firmware 3.0 and 4282 Voters
By: Daniel Chubb | January 26, 2009 | 23 CommentsThe EU.PS3 Blog has published the results of a poll they did about Sony PS3 Firmware 3.0 and what features or changes are needed. The results are in from 4282 unique voters.
The fourth most wanted feature in the next firmware update was a larger selection of video formats and codec’s supported. The third most wanted was more support for developers to include in-game music from the XMB.
In second place was private voice chat accessed via the XMB in-game and the most wanted feature was full software backwards compatibility for PS1 and PS2 games. You can see the full results over on EU.PS3 Blog.
