Specs for HP’s Mini 1100 Netbook Range

By: Peter Chubb | January 22, 2009 | 4 Comments

There have been a number of rumors about what the specs will be from HP’s Mini 1100 Range. The new Netbook range includes the 1133CL, 1135NR, 1140NR and 1141NR, and those rumors that they are to come with an ExpressCard/54 slot look to be true.

The HP Mini 1141NR is the Vivienne Tam edition and comes with the Vivienne Tam sleeve, and the 1135NR and 1140NR both come with Bluetooth, apart from the rest of the range all have the same 10.1-inch 1024 x 576 display.

All of the HP Mini 1100’s will use the Atom N270 with a 1.6GHz speed as well as 1GB of RAM and a 60GB hard drive, and will be powered by a three-cell battery. It is not known why HP has so many different confusing models in the range.

I think 60 gb is not enough at all. There are better models of Acer on this range.

They should definitly work on the screen and make the display resolution bigger on the 10-inch screen.

It’d be nice if they supported (not necessarily came with) more RAM. It’d be a cheap and effective upgrade for people. Also, since these are NETbooks, how about supporting wireless N?

It was a good netbook model but now its hardware is not enough. Anyway, suggested if you are in tight budget.
