IBM Lotus launches LotusLive: Download Today

Lotus is to launch LotusLive; this is an online version of their popular collaboration suite of applications. This new suite will be announced later today at the Lotusphere conference in Orlando. IBM joins a long list of collaboration vendors to offer a cloud version of their suite.

Microsoft are just one of a number of those vendors to offer an online service, Cisco and Oracle also have an online version of their suite programs, the Cisco suite is expected to launch in March. Google also have a cloud suite, but nothing like LotusLive.

LotusLive brings all the core components of Notes, and has been available for about a year under the codename of BlueHouse, IBM say that they already have over 15,000 users signed up. When you visit the LotusLive page, you can see that the suite will consist of six modules.
