Camera hat powered by Google Android handset

We have seen Google Android do many things, and now one of these handsets has been used to power a camera hat. What this camera hat consist of is a Google Android handset which has been strapped to the forehead like a miners light.

The next thing that is needed is a custom app for streaming camera footage on to the Internet. This was the work of Dan O’ Sullivan, who has a Master’s Degree in Interactive Telecommunications. He found that he was getting a number of calls, mostly from mothers for help with their technical systems.

He thought it would be more helpful if he could see what they were doing, so that he was able to offer the correct help. Dan thought that it would be cool if they had a hat camera, he first thought about using a network camera, as he would not have to do any of the networking.
