
Apple iPhone vs. Palm Pre: battle of the 3G Smartphone’s

The first hurdle for this Smartphone is to show to people how great the new webOS operating system is, and the second is to do battle with the Apple iPhone 3G, which is the king of Smartphone’s.
Palm handsets of old run on Windows Mobile, but the Pre wanted to do things different, which is where the new webOS browsers comes in. First impressions of the phone and OS are good, and the phone works smoothly with this new software.
The Palm Pre does look to be a match for the iPhone in a number of areas, but is their Web integration enough to lure people away for the trusted iPhone 3G. PC World have been looking closely at this, and they do admit that the Palm Pre is a great phone, but it is not iPhone or Blackberry killer.
