Killzone 2 on PS3: No Collector Edition

There have been a number of rumors of a Killzone 2 Collector Edition for the PS3, but we have to sadly tell you that it is not true. PS Blog asked Jeff Rubenstein when the Collector’s Edition would be announced, and the answer was not a positive one.

Rubenstein said, “There is no collector’s edition slated for Killzone 2.” He added that the developer, Guerrilla Games has put all of their effort into the main game so that they can create a masterpiece. Let us hope that Killzone 2 will be every bit as good as what they say.

If you have been holding off on your pre-order for the Collector Edition, then you had better get your name down for the standard version of Killzone 2. How bad would that be if your neighbor has a copy and you do not, you know he will turn it up just enough so you can hear it.
