By: Peter Chubb | January 14, 2009 | 2 CommentsGoogle will be launching their reseller program for the paid version of their apps today, which is the search engine giant’s collaboration and communication suite. Today’s launch will allow third parties to resell Apps Premier; the price for this is $50 per year for each user.
Those resellers can be anything from consultants, ISPs, IT service providers, system integrators, software vendors and VARs. Most apps users are usually individuals and small businesses and use the free Standard edition, Google needed to beef up their Premier edition in order to attract the attention of large organizations.
If you are a reseller, then Google will offer you a 20 percent discount, they will also provide you with support, training and tools for sales and marketing. With the launch on Wednesday Google will also be capping the number of users that an organization can have on its standard version.
