T-Mobile G1 multitouch demonstration on video
By: Peter Chubb | January 13, 2009 | Leave a CommentThanks to Ryan Gardner, he said that it was possible that multitouch could be incorporated on the T-Mobile G1. We now have news that Luke Hutchison has taken it a step further and actually has the multitouch feature fully working on a G1 Google Android phone.
The demonstration video below shows you it in action, as well as providing all the instructions for you to do the same. If you are not confidant enough to undertake the process yourself, just sit back and enjoy the video.
If you visit Luke Hutchison blog he has an in-depth step-by-step process of how he managed to get multitouch on the T-Mobile G1 / HTC Dream. He starts by wondering why these handsets only supported single-touch rather than iPhone-style multitouch. He has a number of theories on this; hit the source link below to find out more.
