Palm Pre and webOS: A closer look

The new Palm Pre with its new WebOS has certainly been causing a buzz, but that is to be expected when a new mobile platform is about to hit the market. There are a number of myths on the Internet about the new Palm Pre, and Engadget Mobile thought they would dispel and such myth.

There have been rumors that the Palm Pre will be the only webOS based device, this is not true. Palm have already said that this will become the new platform for their handsets, there will be a number of webOS handsets in the near future.

Another myth is that the Sprint version of the Palm Pre will be a global phone, which is not true. The CDMA version will launch in the U.S. on Sprint, a 3G version will launch internationally. There are so many of these Myths visit Engadget Mobile, so they can put the record straight.
