Lord of the Rings Conquest Review: where are they?
By: Peter Chubb | January 13, 2009 | 3 CommentsLord of the Rings Conquest is just the latest game from the LOTR world and has been developed by Pandemic Studios, and published by Electronic Arts. Game fans will recognize that much of the gameplay mechanics have been borrowed from Star Wars: Battlefront, another game from Pandemic. The game will be released on the Sony PS3, Xbox 360 and PC, users wishing to purchase the new game have been looking for a review, and that is the problem, where are they?
Lord of the Rings Conquest is based on the LOTR trilogy; the player will have the choice of playing either good or evil. Pandemic has used some of the elements from the movie, as well as taking inspiration from the novels.
I decided to do a bit of searching myself, and I have come across some previews of the game, but no review. The Guardian has been talking up the PC version of the game, but that is all. Planet Xbox 360, they explain how Xbox 360 users are getting ready for the first major 360 release of 2009.
