2010 Toyota Prius: Review and Photos

The 2010 Toyota Prius has arrived at Detroit and now some photos have been posted on the Internet for us all to enjoy. It has now been 12 years since the first Prius rolled out of the factory, and it has taken a long time, but drivers have started to warm to the car.

The 2010 Toyota Prius is the third-generation Prius and you can clearly see that Toyota is still building upon the basic Pirius design. The new model still uses basic nickel-metal hydride batteries, the hatchback design is a little old now, and as for the performance, forget it.

Do not let that put you off as Toyota have managed to improve the 2010 model in a number of areas. The new Prius has a moonroof with solar panels, four driving modes and a multi-information display panel. The first generation Pirius managed to average 46MPG; the 2010 model achieves 50MPG.
