Now that we are in 2009 you have a few choices when buying all types of products, do you go for older styles/models and get a great deal or do you get the latest design and pay a lot more?

One such product area is prom dresses, you can get many 2008 prom dresses on sale and they still look great. Although the new 2009 prom styles by top designers are out now with more releasing daily. So what is a girl to do?

One such site that has a massive sale on 2008 styles is Prom Girl, they have closeouts at silly prices (from $29). The new designs can run into hundreds of dollars, but a prom is such an important event.

Would you buy a 2008 prom dress and get a discount price or would it have to be a 2009 design?
