Sony president happy with Little Big Planet Sale

Kai Hirai, Sony’s Computer Entertainment president has been at CES 2009 and has said that he is happy with Little Big Planet sales. Hirai said that LittleBigPlanet has sold 1.3, million sales since the game launched back in October.

The Sony President said that the sales figures are not that bad since other PS3 titles have not had much success. It is no secret that the PlayStation 3 is a great games console but it has taken its time turning that into great sales success.

There has been over 300 million content downloads on the PlayStation network in December alone, although that is not big compared to the Xbox 360 and Live, but for Sony that is just the start of something great.
