CES 09: Velocity Micro NoteMagix M10 Netbook and M5 UMPC
By: Peter Chubb | January 10, 2009
I was a little surprised at some of the great products that are coming out of CES 09, I thought that consumer electronic companies would not have much on show as 2009 is going to be very tough for us all. Well Velocity Micro had a couple of new products to show, they were the NoteMagix M10 Netbook and M5 UMPC (Ultra Mobile PC).
The NoteMagix M10 has a 10.1-inch screen and the 4-cell battery allows for up to five hours of power. The netbook weighs in at 2.6 pounds, some of the features include, Windows XP, Wi-Fi, as well as a custom carrying case for traveling around with.
If that is not portable enough for you, then why not consider the Velocity Micro M5 UMPC. This device comes with a touchscreen display as well as a full QWERTY keyboard. Features include 5 hours of battery life, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 3G WWAN and much more. Both devices will be made available later in the spring
