Today is a big day for Microsoft as Windows 7 Beta is now available for download, and there is a lot riding on the success of the trial. You will have to hurry as there are only 2.5 million downloads available for you to test.

Developers have already had the chance to have a play with Windows 7 Beta, which can only benefit us once the operating system is fully released. This OS is the eagerly anticipated successor to Microsoft’s Vista, which has not won many fans, but Windows 7 already looks set to be a better version.
