By: Peter Chubb | January 9, 2009 | Leave a CommentThere are certainly some nice things coming out of the 2009 Consumer Electronics Show, and the Panasonic DMP-B15 is evident of that. This is the world’s first Portable Blu-ray Disc Player, which can also be connected to a TV via an HDMI cable.
The Panasonic DMP-B15 features an 8.9-inch LCD screen, and the battery allows for three hours worth of viewing enjoyment. The device has a SD memory card slot, allowing you to also view photos along with HD videos that you have recorded.
Panasonic have also given the DMP-B15 Portable Blu-ray Disc Player their Viera Cast application, this allows consumers with a connection to broadband, access to a number of entertainment websites. Those sites that are included are Amazon’s video-on-demand service, Bloomberg financial news site and a weather channel Google’s Picasa photo service, and YouTube.
