Palm Pre Touch Screen Phone with WebOS

Sprint will be launching the new Palm Pre in the first half of 2009; the new phone will feature a touch screen and will run on WebOS. This handset has been built from the ground up, and will be constantly connected to the Internet.

The new Palm WebOS is a new platform and has been designed for those who use the web a lot while on the move. The idea behind WebOS is that you want your information to move around with you, so wherever you are you can gain access to all your personal information while on the move. The new OS allows you to gain access to your information on your phone, on the web, or even at home.

The Palm Pre has a 3.1-inch curvy touchscreen and as a silver button in the center, which is also touch. There is a full QWERTY keyboard which slides out from the phone, this is a portrait orientation. There are a number of great features; these include 3 megapixel camera with LED flash, Bluetooth with A2DP, WiFi, GPS and 8GB of built-in flash storage.
