When a brand launches a new product it can create different results with it’s stocks, this is due to many factors and with Palm’s (NASDAQ:PALM) latest touch screen phone launch (The Palm Pre) it had a very positive effect.
The new Palm Pre phone helped their stocks soar 34.9%, that’s $4.45 at the close of trading yesterday. The phone was unveiled at the 2009 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) along with details on it’s new webOS operating system.
