Ford announce 2010 Shelby Cobra GT500: Most powerful Mustang

Ford is treating their customers to something new and special ahead of the 2009 North American International Auto Show, 2010 Shelby GT500. This is no ordinary Shelby; it is a Cobra version and is the most powerful Mustang for 2010.

The car is the most powerful SVT-tuned Mustang ever, Ford have also worked on the interior to give it a more refined feel, the drive is also more responsive than ever. Shelby Automobiles have worked hard on the GT500, as the vehicle has to compete with the ever improving muscle car market.

The Ford Shelby GT500 has a supercharged and intercooled 5.4-liter dual overhead V8, and is expected to push out around 540HP. With all that power you will need good brakes, and the 250 mm in diameter discs do a fantastic job.
